 We are so thankful for the confidence and kickstart that our son Shep (age 2) received after working with Coach John. We watched quite the transformation take place in the water from day 1 onward to the final day, from tears to thrill and excitement! Shep connected well with Coach John’s loving and gentle presence. Shep continued to talk about swimming “like a dolphin with Coach John” throughout the summer months and enjoyed trips to the pool, ocean and lake because of the wonderful foundation he received! We will be back for a refresher course this upcoming season!  

 My 6-year-old was often hesitant to enter the water despite no bad experiences. I realized he really needed some help, and my methods were not working. He was still using puddle jumper floaties! I'm so thankful I found Coach John. In less than a week of short daily lessons my son went from being terrified of the water to wanting to dive down for toys, loving sticking his head under water, and starting some real swimming strokes. Honestly, it was extremely difficult to watch him work through his fear during the first lesson, but Coach John was very caring and kind while being firm that he deal with his fear of water in a healthy way. He recovered from that lesson more quickly than I did- lol! I never had to bribe or convince him, even for the second lesson. His self confidence soared as the week went on, and most importantly, he is well on his way to being safe around water and enjoying it for the rest of his life. I am so thankful!!  

My 5 year old son had been in swimming lessons for the prior 2 years without any success. Each day my son’s confidence in the water grew because of the training techniques John implemented in the pool. By the end of the week, we were amazed at the transformation we witnessed. My son went from being terrified of going underwater to someone who loves swimming and being in the pool. It would have never of happened without the bond John formed with my son making him feel comfortable in the water.

Thank you so much for truly changing our lives. There are no words that express the gratitude we have for you helping complete her. She is so happy, and will be safe. To have this for life is simply priceless!!!!Who knew 7 days could change your life forever? I would never have believed it could have happened if I didn’t see it with my own eyes. Quite frankly I’m still in shock that my girl who has been terrified of the water for years is begging to go swimming now. The transition is astonishing!!! You have made us believers. Thank you Coach John with all our hearts!!
